COACH BARLOW SAYS: "Kyle played a limited role for us in 2007 as he was recovering from elbow surgery. Kyle has the potential to be a very good pitcher and hopefully in '08 he will return from his injury and provide some much needed depth to our staff." 2008: appeared in 5 games and made 2 starts...got the start vs. Brandeis (4/1) and gave up no earned runs over 3 innings (H, R, 2 K, BB). 2007: appeared in one game in relief in a NEWMAC Semifinal game vs. Babson (4/28)...0-0 with a 81.00 E.R.A. over 0.1 innings of work. PERSONAL: son of Kevin and Stephanie Adkins...computer science major...born on 2/1/88...pitched in the Washington D.C. Metro Baseball League in the summer of 2007...hobbies include computers, reading, and cars...lists the San Francisco Giants and Roger Clemens as his favorite professional team and athlete...favorite books are Catch 22 and The Killer Angels and top movie is Saving Private Ryan...played for nationally ranked NorCal Baseball Club while in high school...also competed in the WWBA National Championship, AAU National Championship and USA Junior Olympics.
