COACH BARLOW SAYS: "Erik is both an infielder and a pitcher but it is likely in '08 that he will most impact the team on the mound. While not an over powering pitcher, he consistently is around the plate and could provide some depth to our staff."
2008: appeared in 7 games, all in relief...posted a 0-0 record with an E.R.A. of 5.40 over 11.2 innings of work...made his collegiate pitching debut in the first game of a conference doubleheader vs. Babson (3/22) and threw 1.2 perfect innings (0 H, 0 BB, K)...came in relief and threw 3 scoreless innings (3 H, K, 0 BB) in the first game of a doubleheader vs. Colby (3/27)...threw 1.1 innings of scoreless, one-hit, relief vs. Wheaton (4/6)...threw 0.2 innings of scoreless relief in a NEWMAC Tournament game vs. Wheaton (4/24).
