Men's Tennis Sweeps Clark

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The MIT men's tennis team shutout NEWMAC foe Clark University, 7-0, on Wednesday. With the win, the Engineers improve to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in conference competition.

Kevin Durand and Jonathan Farm along with Mark Egan and Melvin Makhni posted 8-0 victories at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles positions. Thomas Dohlman, paired with Eric Beren earned an 8-3 win in the No. 1 spot.

Dohlman led off singles play with a victory as Beren won, 6-2, 6-4. In the No. 3 slot, Egan defeated his opponent by a score of 6-2, 6-1. Both Durand and Colin Klick won their matches by scores of 6-0, 6-1, while Eric Makhni had a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
