CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The MIT men's cross country squad saw its season come to a disappointing end Saturday at the New England Regional championship, finishing 8th out of over 50 teams and failing to qualify for the national championship meet. Despite entering the meet as the fifth ranked team in New England and No. 23 nationally, the Engineers failed to finish high enough to earn the program's first bid to NCAA championship since 2001.
