During Coach Kostrzewski's first year as head coach, the varsity eight finished 8th at the IRA National Championship and ended the '08 spring season with a dual record of 2-2. Kostrzewski joined the MIT coaching staff in 2006 as novice lightweight coach and was promoted to head lightweight coach in 2007. Prior to coaching at MIT, Kostrzewski competed for the Vesper Boat Club in Philadelphia and coached at Lower Merion High School. Kostrzewski earned her master's degree in sport and exercise psychology from Temple University in 2004. Kostrzewski graduated from Georgetown University in 1999, where she was a four-year rower and a participant in the 1999 NCAA Women's Rowing Championship. Prior to rowing at Georgetown, Kostrzewski rowed at West Side Rowing Club and Nardin Academy in Buffalo, NY. |
