CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Behind a school-tying mark of 9.75, Sophia Harrison captured the uneven bar title at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) National Championship held this past weekend at SUNY Cortland. CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The MIT women's gymnastics team posted its highest team score in four years and the third-best total in the program's history with a total of 185.025 to place fifth at the ECAC Championship hosted by Springfield College on Saturday. Ursinus College was the crowned the champion with an overall mark of 187.675, followed by SUNY Brockport (187.175), SUNY Cortland (186.75), and the host Pride (185.875). KINGSTON, R.I. - Fresh off of her selection as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Gymnast of the Week, junior Julia Zimmerman was once again impressive in Friday night's quad-meet at the University of Rhode Island's Mackal Field House, finishing the competition with an all-around score of 37.850. However, her efforts weren't enough to prevent the Engineers (177.225) from falling to the host Rams (189.900), Yale University (185.775) and Southern Connecticut State University (182.575).
