MIT's Season Ends With Losses at WPI

WORCESTER, Mass. - WPI Softball earned a doubleheader sweep over MIT, 8-0 and 4-1, in NEWMAC softball action on Monday. The wins and subsequent coin flip allow WPI to claim the sixth and final spot in the NEWMAC Tournament. WPI improved to 14-21 and 6-10 in the conference, while MIT sees its season come to an end with a 6-21 record and 3-13 mark in the NEWMAC. Read More

Engineers Drop Pair of Games to First Place Coast Guard

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--Courtney Wolf hit her league leading 11th and 12th homeruns and freshman Hayley Feindel pitched nine scoreless innings over two games to help Coast Guard sweep the MIT softball team in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) doubleheader on Friday at Briggs Field. The Bears took game one, 9-0, before winning the nightcap, 11-1. With the losses MIT falls to 6-19 overall and 3-11 in conference play.
